Our preschool program provides a variety of learning and growing experiences to challenge young minds. We believe that children benefit greatly through active participation in daily play and in groups. We provide an atmosphere where each child can examine who he or she is and can find his or her role in the group. The whole child is of greatest importance to us. We hope to channel energy constructively and to establish a firm foundation for future learning and growth.

Our Teaching Staff

Our teachers and assistants are highly qualified educators who have many years of experience in working with young children. They provide a very caring atmosphere and accept that each child is a unique individual. Our curriculum provides experiences that develop that uniqueness and fosters growth in the group as a whole.

Moms &Twos

Our goal is to provide play and early learning experiences to children who are just beginning to socialize with other children. Mother stays with her child and participates with him/her in all activities. This is a 2-hour class on Fridays where many sensory, language development, music & large motor skill experiences are provided. Throughout the year, the children evolve from parallel play to cooperative play while the moms share many ideas and experiences with each other and the teacher. This class is open to any child who will be 2 years old by September 30.

Three-Year Program

Our aim in this class is to develop the child’s ability to separate from the parent and learn to trust other adults to meet their needs in order to provide a positive first school experience. Many creative play experiences are provided as well as activities that foster growth in self-esteem, self-help, listening, taking turns, using fine and large motor skills and appreciation of music and children’s literature. Children should be 3 years old by September 30 to be enrolled in this class.

Four-Year Program

The primary goal in this program is to provide experiences that promote developmental and cognitive readiness for Kindergarten in an interesting and enjoyable environment. The basic areas of readiness are:

**Social & Emotional

**Self-help

fine motor development through art, table activities, & using crayons, pencils, & scissors
The child must be 4 years of age before September 30 to enter.

Transitional Program

Our “T-Class” has been developed to meet the needs of the child who has completed a four-year program, but is not ready to enter Kindergarten. We concentrate on identifying and working on areas that need to be further developed in establishing the child’s readiness and to give more time to the very young child to gain maturity. Many of the activities in this program are hands-on and provide the child with practical was of reviewing the concepts and skills that he/she has not yet mastered for satisfactory readiness. Each child in this program has unique need that will be met through this “transitional time” before Kindergarten. These children are 5 by September 30 and should have been previously enrolled in a four-year program.

We hope that you will consider one of our programs for your child. We also provide a child care service to which full-time children and our enrolled preschool students are given preference on a first-come, first-served basis.
